We conducted an analytical study of the current organisational and HR structures at Alshams Contracting, including performance indicators. We developed a new organisational structure and authority matrix, established an employee performance evaluation methodology, cascaded strategic objectives to departments, and updated job descriptions accordingly.
A. The Challenge
The company lacked clear organisational structures, defined roles and performance management systems. HR policies were outdated and compensation structures were misaligned with performance and market benchmarks.
B. Our Solution
We redesigned the organisational structure, defined authorities and responsibilities, created a performance evaluation framework, updated job descriptions, and developed a comprehensive HR policies and procedures manual covering recruitment, learning and development, promotion, succession planning, grading and compensation. We established a rewards strategy linked to performance indicators.
C. Key Achievements
The project delivered a clear organisational structure, modern HR policies, performance-based compensation and a sustainable system for talent management, aligning company operations with strategic goals and fostering a culture of accountability.
