Project Components

We evaluated all courses at the Charity Center for Quran Teaching in Riyadh across three levels. A scope and sequence matrix was prepared, and content was redeveloped based on required competencies. The revised curriculum ensures consistency, progression and alignment with teaching objectives.

A. The Challenge

The existing curricula lacked clear progression and did not fully meet competency requirements, making it difficult for learners to achieve expected outcomes.

B. Our Solution

We analysed course content, developed a scope and sequence matrix, updated learning materials and aligned assessments with competencies. Teachers were trained to implement the new curriculum and to use formative assessment tools.

C. Key Achievements

The association now has structured curricula with clear progression paths and competency‑based content, leading to improved learning outcomes and standardised teaching across centres.
