This nine‑month mentoring initiative selected 30 male and 30 female translators and paired them with six qualified mentors. Conducted over six months of weekly individual and group sessions, the programme included project planning, a digital platform for tracking progress, regular satisfaction surveys and performance reports, and a final report with recommendations.
A. The Challenge
Developing a cohort of 60 professional translators required structured mentorship, careful selection of mentors and mentees, and ongoing monitoring of satisfaction and performance.
B. Our Solution
We structured the project in three phases: planning and documentation, weekly individual and group mentoring over six months, and closing and evaluation. Qualified mentors were selected, trainees were onboarded and digital platforms were used to manage communications and data. Regular surveys and reports ensured transparency.
C. Key Achievements
The programme delivered weekly sessions, high participation rates and positive satisfaction scores. It produced a final report with recommendations, creating a replicable model for future mentorship programmes and elevating the skills of 60 translators.
